Excluding Zlatan is clearly one of the blunders of this list.

    Yup.

Kaka's too high IMO. I would switch him with Drogba.

And Rooney's having an amazing year, but I'm not sure if it's enough to leapfrog over a striker like Drogba and what he's been doing consistently for the past few years.

Forget sweden didn't make the WC. Stevie G is a good player but his form hasn't been the best. Doesn't belong in the top 10 or even top 20 IMO

Aguero is a heck of a forward
Put him in bigger team and he is an instant superstar

Maybe not, he is the best player on a legitimate team and the leading scorer in US history...Yeah yeah I know, the US is a joke. There is almost certainly a better international player out there who is more deserving skill-wise, but I think Landon's career accomplishments warrant a mention. It's only #50

The fact that it's even arguable says a lot about how far US soccer has come.

I'm not saying Donovan is not an excellent player

He is good and doing very well with Everton

But there is no way he is #50

And, no the U.S is not a joke, they have a good team

Would you rather have Aaron Lennon or Landon? How about Joe Cole or Landon?

Tim Howard should be ranked before Landon simply because he brings more to the USA squad than Landon.

And France is so screwed with Thierry Henry as the 2nd best player on the team.

Agree here. Howard is excellent. If there is one thing you can rely on the US for, it's to churn out solid keepers.

potentially the best french player is Gourcuff, he is not recognized because he doesn't for a top european team but he is a of a player.

For France based on potential I'd say Gourcuff / Ribery / Lloris and Benzema. France hasn't high ambition during this world cup but if Gourcuff and Ribery play at their best level, this team will be complicated to play against.

Robben is talented, but he is a selfish SOB

I'm a Real Madrid fan and I was so happy to see him leave the club; I truly hated him, he cost RMA so many games and precious points last season by not passing the ball on 3-on-1 fastbreaks

not a bad list BUT...did they really leave Xabi Alonso off the list? jesus, they have like 9 players from Spain, but forget him? if you have Pique and Silva on such a list, you can't exclude Alonso. his role and performance is (and will be) crucial for the success of Spain. sure, he isn't as spectacular as Xavi, Iniesta and Fabregas, but that's why he is so important. a team overloaded with offensive talent like this needs the glue guy, who plays the 6 low-key and efficient.

    No way.

2)John Terry is way better than #37.

    +1

    No,he's not.The fact that he's injury prone doesn't mean he's overrated.
He's a really great and insanely talented winger.

Kaka may suck with Real but he's off the chart with the national team. We only go as far as he goes.

Dani Alvez a bit overrated imo lol might not even be a starter for our squad

That's kinda weak justification for the order, don't you think? Messi probably shouldn't be in the top 10, based on the logic.
