Why does NO make this trade?
NO is in a bad place, paul cant be happy, and we need more than anything a true playmaker who can create and feed

Parker + Bonner + weed for Chris Paul could happen
1. bad financial situation
2. need to shake things up
3. they get a quick, effective scoring guard to replace him + another sharpshooting big to 'spread the floor' as you guys love to say
4. paul must be growing unhappy and frustrated
5. sometimes teams just do things like this
Then maybe we can trade finley and ginobili for this playmaker

Ginobili is our only true playmaker. this team needs desperately someone who can create. Parker and hill are both scoring guards

If the Spurs are going to have to include Bonner in the deal, I think Okafor would have to come back as well; match the contract with their expirings and get it done; the Hornets are in a real bad financial situation; the Spurs have leverage.
