I need suggestions on a good landscaping company in the San Antonio area to do some work at my house.

My wife and i have some pretty grand ideas for our backyard but need someone with the know how and hands to be able to complete it. I imagine we wont be able to afford to have the entire project completed at once, so would be a long term thing, multiple jobs over the next year.

If you guys know of anyone that does this kind of work, or if you do this kind of work, PM me here so we can talk about estimates.

    Quite a bit

    1. extend patio to end of house
    2. Build an arbor over patio
    3. make path out to tree'd area
    4. make flagstone patio out at tree'd area
    5. frame trees with stones and mulch/plant area
    6. install fountain and lights around tree'd area
    7. make path out to a garden area with path around garden
    8. half court BBall with stone risers on one side
    9. Gated pool area in back of yard

I think we will get done in about....10 years...give or take...

I'm not wealthy enough to hire a landscaper. I just do everything myself.

if you plan on all of this taking you years to complete, why not just do it all yourself. It's easy as and you can do it EXACTLY how you want it done.

Im on the fence still about doing it myself. I think it would be fun and challenging, but i worry i wouldnt be able to do it right. I want to get an estimate first to see how much it would actually cost for most of it (minus the pool). I bought a 20 dollar book at Lowes yesterday to explain how to do all of this stuff, so i may try and take on a lot of it myself.

I think the concrete patio and halfcourt are going to have to be done by someone though.

I know a vato that can landscape your backyard, frontyard, back of your neck, your es chocha, trim your trees, your moustache, weed your garden, grow weed in your garden, you name it and this vato can do it. He doesn't have a green thumb he has a green pinga because he'll fukk your yard into submission.

no shame in having someone else do your pool and concrete work but you should not pay a penny beyond cost of material to lay down patio stones or edging, or shrubs. , all you need is a wheelbarrow a shovel and a level

Preferred Landscaping. The owner has an ongoing ad in the SA Business Journal with his picture on it. He's kind of good looking. Not sure about their work, though.
