Why does NO do it?
Three team trade between the Mavericks, Hornets, and the kings:
Mavs trade Drew Gooden(4.5m expiring),Sean Williams(2.4m exp), Singleton (1m expiring) to the Hornets (7.9mill expiring)
Hornets trade David West to Sacremento ( They are looking for a PF like West )
Sacremento trade a scorer in K-Mart to Dallas
Mavs would pick up Drew Gooden again after NO waives him

They are looking to cut salary and it would give them 7.9m expiring.
Mavs can trade expiring for Kevin Martin straight up?
For Dallas? It's an obvious no-brainer. You're picking up a quality starter without giving up anything except financial flexibility.
Don't really see the other teams giving Dallas this kind of free gift though.
