Look out NBA-- Raptors pull-out a nail biter in Philly. They have won 8 out of their last 10. Bosh is playing like a man possessed and Bargs had a great fourth quarter.

The team is back to where it was in 07 where they were a 6th/5th seed team. Glad to see the Raptors back on track. Chris Bosh is making a big statement to those who are interested in signing him this summer.

Jarret Jack has made that team tougher, thanks to more playing time

DeRozen is a great rookie; ok not great, but they needed an athletic SG

CB4 has put on more muscle, and it has made him a better player.

I also like the contribution from Amir Johnson

Bargnani is legit, the problem is he simply can't play center effectively. Him and Bosh are too similiar. Even if Bosh leaves this summer I am sure Bargnani will step it up big time next year, they simply need an enforcer center to watch his back.

This and the Raptors need consistent defense.

They've been lucky and Bargnani is grossly overpaid.

No he ain't, he simply isn't a defending center, and never will be, and that's fine. Out of all "next Dirks" coming from Europe he is by far the closest to the real thing. Bosh right now is holding him back, not that it's Bosh fault because he is a better player. But just like Dirk developed fully only when Fin and Nash left, I am sure the same will happen for Bargs. They need to find better defensive players to play with him though, to mask his weaknesses.

if bargnani is overpaid, then what are lamarcus aldridge, elton brand, dalembert, etc. who are paid more but put up less stats.

Bargnani is a scorer only. He's a terrible defender, he's an awful rebounder, he doesn't pass the ball, he isn't a shot-creator (almost 80% of his shots are assisted), nothing, zero.

    You overrate scoring big time.

Bargnani is actually a fine defender one-on-one in the post- better than people give him credit for. He is not a good help defender and struggles big time guarding a pick-n-roll. He also is doing more offensively in the post this year, and he is definitely making better judgments when they put a smaller defender on him to post the guy up.

He will never be a great rebounder, but he is doing a better job of putting a body on his guy and boxing out.
