Where's he going? Doesn't sound like a career ending arrest at all

I don't think he was walkin' straight and narrow before this mishap. It's getting close to zero tolerance.
You gotta admit Mookie, this is getting out of control.
What the ?When police arrived Buckner was given the opportunity to leave, but wouldn’t.
It's been that way since Robert Joseph arrived on campus
I'm not going to put buckner in the same class as armed robbery or dwi guys but it yeah it's bad. Texas as a program is clean, so cut these guys loose and try again next year
the thing is the Mack brown character guys issue has hurt us bad, we missed out on the best offensive lineman and won't even touch some of top runningbacks the last few years
So what, they just turn bad when they get to Austin? If these guys are character guys, what the did the ones we won't recruit do?
FWIW, Auburn had a kid who did almost the same thing (if not a bit worse) last season (Eric Smith). He sat out a few games, but Chizik reportedly put a whole bunch of conditions(on top of the courts) in order for him to continue with Auburn. So far, he's living up to those conditions and looks to be a solid contributor next year.
The charges against Buckner don't sound like the kind that will get you kicked off the team, although I'm not familiar with how Mack operates
Buckner to transfer.

Good call Kermit. I thought for sure this would be a premature thread when I opened it up earlier today. It appears as if this wasn't Buck's first time pissing Mack Brown off.
Here's a picture of his lady who is on the A&M Equestrian team. WTF!?!?

Which do you think?
At least he is gone. Plenty of good freshman WR to replace him.
I don't know, he had a DUI in 2007 and a texting while driving accident this year
The Collins loss was worse, buckner was going to be forever stuck in that tweener role, couldn't block and was too slow for wideout
The guy is like Williams without the potential...cant catch a ball placed right on his numbers.
Not nearly as damaging as Collins.
Mack needs to ins ute some sort of Buddy System in the UT ranks. Like make sure each black ass thug he brings on campus is matched up with one coach's son white guy from a rich High School district.
It will either be an amazing success or a huge cluster --
The white guys will get more street cred and swagger
the black thugs will walk a straighter line
Or
the white guys will get arrested for robbing chick-fil-a's
and the black thugs will quit the team to join bible academy
Bottom line, Mack pursuing a no-tolerance policy is the only way to go about this . Theres not much else to do.
True. He can do that with Buckner easily though since he wasn't going to be as big a part of the team this upcoming season.
wasnt buckner removed cause he was going Lawrence Phillips on his gf on numerous occasions?
if so, good riddance. I liked him and rooted heavily for him. he was my second favorite receiving option this season, but if his character is that bad..........get the outta Austin.
Besides, Mack just recruited like 5 WRs......including Davis and Miles.
No violence occurred this time, and I haven't heard of of anything like that, so are you talking about internet facts or what?
Damn, this was a dude that I just couldn't understand why he wasn't beating LB or 4th/5th CB coverage from the TE position. Opens up a scholarship at least, but we're gonna rely on a lot of young ass dudes next season. I say play and develop them then the next two seasons after that we should be loaded with experienced studs to go along with an experienced stud in Gilbert to make another NC run.
There were internet facts to the tune of fights at Gregory, theft, etc. I'm sure this was the last straw.
Still have Williams, Hales, Chiles, Kirkendoll, Fitzhenry, Monroe, Timmons, Payne
Everyone of these guys was a 4* recruit except Fitzhenry. Not to mention these guys are verbally committed.
Darius White, Chris White, Mike Davis and John Harris. All 4* recruits #3, 10, 18, 29 rated WRs
