Even with KG, they arent the favorites in the East
I bet their announcers are over there spewing bull about how this game is nothing but a conspiracy
mavs are streaky, just because they decided to show up tonight doesn't mean it's necessarily a slight to the celtics. they're without kg and the mavs just played good. i mean no one was declaring the lakers season a waste when we beat them earlier in the year. never know which mavs team is gonna show up
sheed has been the biggest disappointment of the season. what a fat slob
maybe the Lakers/Magic will be more entertaining
Hey we never said Cavs are favorites either. GO MAGIC!!!!![]()
Oh and props to the Mavs. Stick a fork in Boston for good. They won't be healthy. The window is closed for good. Fun run though. They got a championship out of it so it was well worth it.
The Mavericks should play the rest of their games on the road. They clearly hate their fans.
I thought these threads were going to stop.
How about "Tee hee Celtics?"
Saying "When Boston is healthy they're the best team in the East" is a pretty meaningless piece of reasoning because, of course, Boston is never healthy.
It's almost the same as saying, "When J.J. Hickson has a double-double night the Cavaliers are the best team in the East." Both are true in the abstract, but because neither has any relationship with reality, it doesn't matter.
Besides, thewas more in response to Boston's misfortune than the OP's point in particular.
Somebody lacking sarcasm.![]()
I did just put "J.J. Hickson" and "double-double" in the same sentence...
I think there's a good chance Boston will be healthy enough by the end of the season and when the playoffs starts. If they are "relatively" healthy, Boston is still the best team in the East.
I know you did, but was that really sarcasm or are you just stereotyping me? I know most celtic fans are bags, but why do you have to include me in with that group? Just because you don't like a fanbase doesn't give you a reason to stereotype me.![]()
I'm just ing with you man, relax.
I'll give it a 10% chance that all of Wallace/Pierce/Garnett/Allen will be 100% by the end of the year...
