I just went to the Stone Brewery in San Diego last week haha. Got a free tour of the brewery with free samples-its HUGE-and is in an awesome area. Has a cool place you can eat at and get more buzzed up. They have some really good types of brew I had never heard of or tried before I went there...was a good time.

Has a cool place you can eat at and get more buzzed up. They have some really good types of brew I had never heard of or tried before I went there...was a good time.

I'm jealous!

I hit up the Lagunitas brewery in Petaluma every few months. They bring in bands, open the taps (!free!) and have lots of cool giveaways. Lagunitas is definitely my second favorite, after Stone. My friends girlfriend works in marketing with them so they're always kicking me free 12ers. (Employees get two free cases a month, of their choosing)



The beer above was a special brew they made to thumb their noses at the California beverage board after they got shut down for some kid getting busted for underage drinking at one of their brewery get-togethers. The cops(undercover) were trying to buy weed, but nobody would sell it to them (instead people were trying to give it to them, lol). So, the ing pigs found some kid who was underage and busted him, hence the shut-down.
