Let's look at who's on the block for sure

    Philly: Andre Igoudala, Samuel Dalembert

Golden State: Monta Ellis, Anthony Randolph, Corey Maggette, Biendriens

Washington: Caron Butler, Brendan Haywood, Mike Miller, basically the whole team

    Knicks: Jared Jefferies (Hahahahahaha)

    Suns: Amare Stoudamire

    Sacramento: Kevin Martin

The question is who will get the most for the least? What asset does your team have that may be able to land you some top talent? Only 18 days until the deadline, and offers should begin to take form. I know Cleveland is interested in Igoudala, along with Houston, and Dallas. Houston and Dallas are interested in Kevin Martin. Cleveland, Spurs possibly interested in Amare. Should be a very active trading season.

Iggy/Dalembert would make the Mavs contenders. no joke.

Adds size/length/perimeter defense necessary to have a shot against the Lakers.

Unfortunately, it just doesn't seem possible

True, personally, I think Morey has a deal he is sitting on that he really likes, but he is trying to see who panics first

He's not a franchise player. They'd be foolish to build around him. #2/#3 guy, not a #1 guy.

And Brand's contract is a death note for that team. They need to blow it the up.

By the time Thad Young, Jrue Holiday, Lou Williams, Speights hit their prime, Iggy would be on his decline.

Rockets should let T-Mac's contract expire and use that money to go after Joe Johnson or other FAs.

Rockets desperately need a SG and a center as well. Maybe move Scola, start Landry, move Hayes to the bench.

I think most teams will just sit and wait for the summer.

The teams that won't wait are the Contenders. But out East, only the Cavs seem to be looking for a piece to put them over the top.

Can't really say there's one team that is a lock to win it out of the East since they are 4 deep so none of them are in panic mode.

Out West, I think there will be alot more activity (relatively).

Mavs are always looking cuz Cuban is always trying to spend, Suns always trying to dump and Spurs trying to figure out what to do with Manu. Rockets have McGrady to get rid of.

I don't see anybody else doing much of anything.
