Most hospitals do these days, but can't say for sure. Probably worth the chance to cart it along.
If not, you could at least watch a mo0vie or something.
My mom is going in for surgery there tomorrow - does anyone know if they have wireless LAN in the waiting areas? Most hospitals do, if they do I'll drag the laptop along and it will give me something to do while we wait.

You should at least download a movie in case they don't.
I know they have it in the hospital rooms and I'm pretty sure I saw several people using their laptops in the waiting rooms.
