Thought some might be interested in this. I did some research on this genre for a while now. I decided to make a myspace account of a lot of the space rock bands I've found which include Pink Floyd, Hawkwind, Porcupine Tree, The Moody Blues, Tangerine Dream, Ozric Tentacles, and many more.

Btw I don't think Space Rock is the ideal name for this music. Not too many bands devote all their msuic to space. Atmosphere Rock is a better name for it. It's a mix of genres. Progressive Rock, Progressive metal, Indie Rock, Classic Rock, Ambient Music, and Psychedelia. I think the best way to enjoy this site is to listen to one band each day on myspace.
