Stranger things have happened, but I don't know that it will ever be the omnipresent fad it was in the 70's.
Just wondering.
Saturday Night Fever was on VH1 Classics last night. That movie never gets old for me.

There has been an disco-influenced movement in some of the indie genres. You have groups that have incorporated the sound and made it varied with their perspective and personal sound. But overally? Probably not.
Can you dig it?
I knew that you could.
That was my favorite movie as a kid.

Yeah. It's when they pretend to jump off the bridge and that girl rushes to the ledge. They're there looking up laughing at her.

You still wear yours right?
But to answer the question I think techno is a form of disco. I don't think Tavares will be doing any reunion tours or have much influence on future bands.
I think she cleared her closet of those the other day

Oh, and just a little FYI----don't Google "Dancing Queen" if you are of weak cons ution![]()
There was a short fad in the late 90's well girls wore bell bottoms...but they called them fairs. I guess they were less.....uh swingy
All styles usually comeback if even for a min.
If it does, I'll have to buy a record player again so I can play the song I have called "Bomb the Disco's."Do you think Disco will make a comeback?
I think there will always be elements of disco in music somehow. There are bands now that are heavily disco influenced. One great band that comes off the top of my head is the Scissor Sisters. They would fit right in to the disco scene of the 70s.
You mean you don't still have yours stored in the attic?
