“Not really,” Parker said.
“Well, at least you’ll have this summer to get right,” I offered.
“No, this summer I have the national team,” Parker said, somewhat surprisingly.
Oh.
I took a moment to clarify, but the answer stuck. Unless Parker’s body simply quits, he plans to play this summer.

If true and he meant it he needs to be traded as soon as possible. No hating but we cant walk on eggs anymore because of international play while TD is in the last of his career.

If Parker actually plays for the FNT, I'd advocate a trade. Going into the final year of his contract, his value would never be higher.
You'd think he would have learned by how his body is ruined this season. If he doesn't care enough about ring number five to rest up for what will likely be the last chance, ship him out.
I still don't think there's any chance Tony plays this summer. I don't care what he's saying now.

Waiting impatiently to see how Ducks will spin this story into a reason for trading Manu. Maybe his influence is bad for Tony, eh Ducks?
The ironic thing is that if TP plays on the FNT, I would actually expect the Spurs to trade him -- which makes re-signing Manu a lot less likely. Why invest in Manu if you are going to rebuild? TP could very well be making a decision that decides Manu's future.
Maybe, but thats a very huge gamble to take when it comes strait from the mans mouth himself.

Of course TP is talking . The Spurs tried to trade his ass earlier this season.
Oh well, this appears to be the end, as far as serious contention goes. It's been one of a ride.
