Sadly it's not just Philly, this kind of thing happens all over the place. I'd be glad to see all sporting venues use this sort of method to capture these idiots. Maybe it'll be a better deterrent.

There really isn't an argument anyone can make for this kid BUT...am I the only one who finds it really annoying that the fat cops had to "cheat" to get this kid? I'd much rather see a cop who was completely capable of catching him use the taser rather than this obese cop using a shortcut for being slow. But again, kid got what he deserved
Hwhwhwhwhwat? Cheating? It's not a race. They had to clear this incident as soon as possible to continue with the game.
its not like the kid ran on the field to stab or jump someone, and there was what? fkn 4-5 guys and they couldnt do to him, those guys should just hand in their resignation letters

While I think it's a bad sign that an officer might whip out a taser anytime they're too fat to chase a dumb teenager, I still laughed. The er dropped like a rock.

Getting tased is all the rage these days.
Another Phillies fan got onto the field, but they didn't taser him. You can kind of hear the crowd chanting 'TASER" at the very start, then the start booing after the fan gets caught and calmly walks with the staff.
They should taser all all jerks who jump on the field. As they they are flopping around after getting tasered , playing the chicken dance on the loud speakers would be fun.
