The Monkey Paw movie?
Was not expecting this movie to be what it was at all. The previews show you nothing about this movie.
It has a sci-fi plot to it. It doesn't answer everything but that's part of the mystery. The acting was so-so, story line was decent. If you want to watch a weird different movie, it's worth a rent. I wouldn't want to have paid to see it at the theatre.

Richard Kelly's a hack. I haven't seen the film in question but Southland Tales was so awful I never want to see another one of his movies again. I can't imagine Matheson enjoying the film either seeing as he hated the Twilight Zone version of his story.
The Twilight Zone episode was good. Every person that makes something and someone else comes along and does it again is always going to say it sucks and was done wrong. It's called ego.
Wife and I watched "The Box" over the weekend and we both really liked it. Its a tragic tale.
