    ABC sucks. Terrible station for the NBA. CBS was cool back in the 80s while NBC was awesome.

    The 81 Finals introl had a 70s feel to it.

    I miss watching sports in the 80s. Lakers vs Celtics, George Brett and the Royals, Dale Murphy with the Braves, the Saints Dome Patrol on defense. Man, good times.

    I actually feel like I got cheated by not having my 2004 Pistons win on NBC. It was somehow disrespectful that I had to endure ABC's sub-par NBA broadcast to my team's victory...

    This is why you can't consider the Spurs a dynasty since 3 of their championships were on ABC.

    Combine the detail of that intro with modern production values (I'm talking graphics, not Rob Thomas) and it would be pretty sweet.

    NBA on NBC was the best by far.

    nowadays we have ing beyonce dancing or some other RnB/hip-hop garbage most of the time as an 'intro theme'...

    the best pre-game intro was the old jordan bulls pre-game intro
