They swept us in the season series for some reason this season.
utah would def be my choice also.
It won't be easy getting the #5 seed, but if the Spurs buckle up, they can do it.
I know we've lost all 4 of our matchups with Utah this season, but we were in the game until the end every time.

Utah would be a quick and painless 1st round exit at least
Phoenix, OKC, Denver and Utah, in that order, are the best matchups, IMO.
Having said that, the Spurs' only real shot at advancing (all things being equal) would be against Phoenix or OKC.
But I feel like LAL, Dallas, Denver, and Utah won't fall out of the top 4 spots.
Otherwise, there are definitely teams below the top 4 I'd much rather face, I just think it's too much of a longshot to draw those matchups.

But if given the choice of finishing sixth (and facing Denver) or fifth (and facing Utah), I'd rather be sixth; Utah broke through mentally.

Agreed. I'd rather play Denver. There's always a decent chance a George Karl coached team has a meltdown.
But I think Utah will catch Denver so I think the Spurs would need to finish 5th to play the Nuggets.

it's hard not to find someone u dislike on one of those teams, but Boozer imo is the biggest .
