Great dunk right there. As soon as I saw Amare running down at Tolliver, I knew it was over. Dude should just have jumped out of the way. Sucks for Tolliver because he was having a great game before that happened lol.

Btw look closely at the Warriors bench at the 0:10 - 0:12 second mark and look at Devean George's reaction lol

In terms of the dunk itself: it was nice, but not great. The atmosphere of the game made it 100x better to anyone watching. Complete momentum shift.

    Edit: Much better quality:

Great dunk but the commentators overhyped the out of it. Never seen anything like it?!? Amare has had more spectacular dunks over people than this one, even if we're just looking at this year I think the dunk over Jefferson during that Sunday game was sicker.

nice dunk, but the one on RJ was better imo.

seriously, nobody should ever contest an Amare Stoudemire dunk. ever. unless by doing it money goes to charity. otherwise, you end up looking like a damn fool.

yeah not even Bill Walton could've overhyped that dunk any more than those announcers. they basically ed their pants. Bogut's is another one that comes to mind as being better than this one.

Nice duck, not even close to being as fantastic as those announcers try to make it.

And shame Amare is such a re , so full of himself, when he haven't win yet.

Propos to Tolliver for having tried ! he showed he has balls, when you go for a blk on this kind of action you have to be ready to be posterized, props to him for not hiding himself !

I must say that this dunk was good not great. but great point about the momentum shift ...and looking at the time (less than 3mins) and the score (1 pt game after the dunk) ... made it monumental.

This year the Bogut dunk, the Amare dunk on RJ, the Wade dunk and the one recently by Corey Brewer (cant remember who he got) were aLL better

Also the one that Brewer did on Dfish was pretty but to me dunking on a 6 footer no matter how high you get is not impressive. im 6 foot Corey brewer should be able to dunk over me ...

I agree the best shot blockers Alonzo, Dwight, Mutombo, etc. wILL get dunked on. the best shot blockers are not afraid of going after it and the best dunkers take pride in posterizing the best of the BIGS ...

they had a 3 point lead with under 3 minutes left. Why would he not try to block it?

Its like in baseball when you are an overpowering pitcher in high school. If you go to the majors somebody's gonna embarass you and hit a deep home run off you eventually even if you never gave one up in high school.

Same thing in the NBA. The talent level is so high all the way around that you will eventually get dunked on if you play defense. Its not gonna define your career unless your Shawn Bradley and it happens all the time

In 47 minutes, which means Nelson played him pretty much the entire game. That must be exhausting.

I am sure for a guy like Toliver, he loves it. I am sure all the guys who are fighting to stay in the league love it. Still can't believe Tolliver is doing that much damage.

He was a good player for the Spurs, but could not score. His shot would just not fall.
