You know, as a Laker fan and fan of the defending champs, you should want to play the best and beat the best. You don't need it easy in the first round. Stop being a girl and ask for some real compe ion in the 8th seed.
CIA Pop is intentionally setting up a Lakers first round matchup. It's only February, we don't care about winning in February. Classic CIA Pop just setting up a 16-0 playoff run.

i wanna see the Spurs play the lakers in the 1st round. if there is a team that could find a way to pull of another 8th over 1st seed upset, its the Spurs.
not that i think its gonna happen, but i think the spurs would at least give them a solid fight for an 8th seed

Yeah you have every right to be y. The Spurs aren't doing well and the Lakers are walking on people. But don't forget that a Spurs team with Duncan, Parker and Ginobili ended the Kobe/Shaq dynasty.

Out of all the possible teams that could end up as the 8th seeds I asure you that the Spurs are the last one he wants to see facing his Lakers.
Lakers historically blow the next series after beating the Spurs. Even as a joke, there is no way in the Lakers want the Spurs in any series.

He does have a point, between the other teams "competing" for the 8th seed, I gotta say I see the spurs with the highest chances of beating the lakers, if that means all lol
Say the Spurs vs Lakers happens in the 1st rd, it goes 6 games with the Lakers beating the Spurs but not without fighting for it. That would greatly hurt the Lakers energy in the 2nd round as they won the NBA le the previous year, same thing happened to the Spurs in 2008. Not an opponent the Lakers want to play in the 1st round as the Spurs would compete hard to beat them. Say they beat the Spurs and the Mavericks are waiting in the 2nd round, not an easy road to a repeat.
Spurs will not go down without a fight ... and we KNOW tim and Manu will turn it up at playoff time and THAT Parker will abuse Fisher ...
BUT ODOM and Kobe you guys have NO ONE on the roster to match up well with either of them ...
We have the size to punish your small ball lineups ...and we are one of the best in the league at stopping the 3 ball ...
Lakers are a BAD matchup for the Spurs ...I thin Denver though more talented than the Lakers would be a MUCH better matchup ...Dallas too but for someone reason their average players step up against you guys ....
