I like 20. it is a nice round number. Also, should be a plethora of wings available at that spot. Now hopefully we draft the right one

Wish it were 17th, but I'll take 20. As long we we're drafting ahead of the fricking Blazers, I'm happy.

    I also like 20.

This is the highest draft # since Tim. It's usually in the late 20s.

As far as wing players go, Gordon hayward just declared for the draft. Hes predicted to go middle to late 1st. Good height and can hit the 3's and can handle the rock pretty well for his size. This looks like a really good draft for wing players.

It's not the 20th - we should be in a draw with Blazers, Celtics and OKC for picks 19-22.

19th would be great - at least a couple of decent wings should be available.

I still think Hayward returns to school, but otherwise you won't find a more skilled player at that spot.

Don't like Poindexter, don't like Butler, on the fence with George and Hayward.

Do like Robinson or Singler for SF defensive purposes.

Funny to hear all the Gordon Hayward mentions here. Draft Express actually has us picking him at the 20 spot in their current Mock Draft. TBH I like what I've read about him quite a bit, though I can't claim any real knowledge since like many I hadn't seen him play up until the le game.

From video I can see he has a very solid shooting stroke, and from what I've read he is a great decision maker, and has a good feel for spacing which leads me to believe he's a high IQ guy. Plus he has impressive rebounding numbers, indicating hustle.

So college basketball aficionados, is it just tournament inspired hype, or would the Spurs be happy to draft him?

Very good question. Hayward looks like a good fit, but is he athletic enough to play the 3? I think he is, and wouldn't mind if the Spurs drafted him.

Has the 4-way tie been decided yet? I notice on draftexpress.com it has

    19. Blazers
    20. Spurs
    21. Celtics
    22. Thunder

I remember hearing that the draft order of these four (tied) teams would be determined today; is this the order or is it coming out later today? If it is, I hate that the Blazers pick before us again. At least their need right now is for a big man, not for a small forward like us (assuming Splitter comes over). They wouldn't pick the small forward just to spite us, right? Right?

Blair had no ACL. It worked out okay then!

And if he falls to the second round, how can you not take him? He's less of a risk than some random Euro dude or something.

Google check shows that the draws to break draft ties have been conducted/announced on the Friday before the playoffs begin for the past four years. Should see a news release on NBA.com tonight or tomorrow morning.
