The Black Crowes??? I didn't even know they were touring anymore!
I saw them around '95 or '96. They are a great live act.
I'm glad I didn't buy Coldplay or Oasis tickets to the shows in Houston.
This is the lineup for The Austin City Limits Festival. (www.aclfest.com) The tickets are expensive as (around $120), but for 3 solid days of music, that's not too bad at all. The bands in bold are the ones I will make a point to see.

You really ought to check out Robert Randolph & The Family Band.
steve earle and the dukes go hard too
and he's from shertz tx and attended holmes high school
Jet rocks. Sounds like a kick-ass festival.
I'd like to see Wilco and Tortoise, but rock festivals never fail to disappoint me.
South Austin Jug Band.... they put on a good show too.
Manny, you DIDN'T have Lucinda Williams highlighted?
You need to check her stuff out. She's one of the best songwriters out there.
Wilco would be nice to see as well.
I hate the limited time slots, but other than that I love them.
On a side note, I did get tickets from some of our friends at the campus radio station to go see Pat Green @ Stubb's on 2 June.
Also, a friend gave me tix to see Kenny Chesney (the GF wants to go to that one).
The Dirty Dozen Brass Band
These guys are awesome
If you end up not using those Frat Green ducats, I'd be happy to take them off your hands, Johnny...
Hey Manny, how could you highlight Kevin Fowler but not Steve Earle?
Oh, I'm going.
Rumor has it you'll hear some fine acoustic music.
