Brandon Roy is ACTIVE for Blazers tonight. Repeat: ACTIVE. Could be some Willis Reed action at the Rose Garden tonight.

This may turn out to be a big mistake for the Blazers.

I hope he doesn't screw his knee up more. I really like watching him play.

Sounds like Raja Bell 2006 all over again--comeback at home for Game 4 gives the team an emotional lift needed to tie the series at 2-2.

He just doesn't want Manu to get all the "superstar playing despite injury" glory.

The Suns overlooking the Blazers in Game 1 really could hurt us now. If only we had taken them seriously, we would be up 3-0, and Roy probably doesn't even come back, and we sweep them today.

It was a small tear in the meniscus. If it wasn't for the pain, he could have played before the surgery. 20 years ago, when the alternative was open knee surgery, players would just play on this type of injury till the end of their careers.

Bad idea, hes gonna end up like Grant Hill.
Its not like the Blazers are gonna go deep in the playoffs anyway, they should just rest him and get ready for next year.

you really want to play your franchise player a week after surgery (albeit minor)?

I can only care less about the Spurs-Mavs series seeing Blazers going to beat Suns. The suns, besides Lakers and Spurs, are the only team the Mavs have a chance to beat in a series, with Blazers waiting in the 2nd round there's literally no duct for Mavs to sneak into the WCF even if they get some luck and beat Spurs in the 1st round.
