Not rigged, but there's definitely alot of corrupt going on in David Stern's office.
Yes
No
I for one believe so. The obvious examples are the 2002 Kings/Lakers series, and Tim Donaghy. It might be less obvious if Stern would stop fining players and coaches for criticizing the refs, but of course he has a business to protect. I mean, if the integrity of the game is constantly questioned, and more evidence of referee gambling surfaces, would the casual basketball fan stop watching? To the non-NBA fan, the NBA is already tainted, and thought of as just thugs bouncing a ball. Stern doesn't want that image, and he'll do anything to try and get the image to be squeaky clean, hence the hefty fines.

Yes, because of course it is good for the integrity of the sport to allow everyone to complain about officiating. I mean, look at baseball, they allow everyone to call out umps on the field and after games with total impunity and it has eliminated all problems with officiating in that sport.
Great suggestions!
The fans can see it too, so when the comissioner takes no steps to look at the problems, then why continue to put up with a broken product?
i think it sometimes is. but i don't think its the case most of the time or often. if it was rigged, no way in Spurs would've won 4 Championships.
I wouldn't be watching if I believed the NBA was rigged.
If you voted yes, why the do you watch the NBA then?
To laugh at them.
And those that do and about it are fools.![]()
Not exactly rigged but Stern is not punishing refs if they suck.
So you;re telling us Laker fan that you never ed about the officiating against Boston in 2008?
STFU![]()
Nope! Never. I never blame the refs for a win or loss. No doubt I may have posted a comment or two about a terrible call here or there but never that they changed the game. Championship teams don't let themselves get to a point where one or two calls will cost them. Of course the refs make mistakes all the time and are influenced by home crowds. It's part of the game. If you ever played at any decent level you would have experienced it. You haven't so you just whine like the you are.
Not rigged but definetly altered to assist certain teams to win
This is closest to how I feel. I don't think it's rigged, and I don't think Stern ever tells the refs to make a deliberate, concerted effort to help a certain team. I just think that Stern does a terrible job making sure the people who ref games are suited for the job. Someone like Bennett Salvadore who's been convicted of tax evasion shouldn't be a ref.
This pole should have been made public, anyone who watches a sport they think is rigged shouldn't be able to hide their vote.
What I think of your post.
Boogers, nothing but boogers.
Prove me wrong moron.... show the posts where I have or STFU. What a little whiny obsessd you are.![]()
it cant be rigged. just look at the FT's the thunder are getting. just garbage and refs have their own biases and people to make happy with $
It isn't rigged. People who think it is should go watch another sport and leave these discussions out of forums.
