As I read up on Kagan, it seems she may be about the best we could hope for from Obama.

I can see why many on the left are having a bit of a struggle warming up to Kagan.

Of course, I still think she's a liberal. Considering her stance on the Solomon amendment and her connections to Goldman Sachs, Kagan may have a tough row to hoe to get her seat.

We'll see. I just don't expect a whole lot of Republican opposition. , there may be more Democrat opposition than Republican... a la Harriet Meyers.

After All:

She has no judging experience.

She has little experience as a practicing lawyer.

She has approximately one year of experience as Solicitor General of the United States.

She has lots of experience in academia, but has published only a small amount of scholarly work, none of which seems particularly noteworthy.

Not to mention, she looks like Bob Costas in drag.
