Terrell McIntyre told the press in Greece in an interview that he has been offered a contract by the Lakers. He is strongly considering accepting the deal. He could take the minutes of Jordan Farmar and Shannon Brown.

The contract offered is a one year deal worth $1.2 million dollars. He has been considered the best player in Italian League over the last 3 years.

Yeah, the Lakers are going after a 32 year old, 5' 9" PG who never could make an NBA roster.

Also, lol at the best player in one of the top leagues in Europe taking a vet min deal to play in the NBA.

Italy is not one of the best leagues in Europe.

Spain, Greece, United these are all far superior domestic leagues to Italy and even Adriatic is also better.

Anyway he has offers of 6 times that amount in Europe from PAO, Olympiacos, and Efes. But he said he is considering Lakers a lot.

His buyout is only $100,000 dollars for NBA and the Lakers offered to pay it for him.

    OK, Billy.

How many domestic leagues are there in Europe?

How many of those are better than the Italian League?

United, ACB, Adriatic, A1 these are all definitely stronger leagues than Italy.

And your statement "cannot ever make the NBA" is wrong. Galinari and Bellineli are in the NBA and were not considered as good as McIntyre in Italy.

There are only so many that are not at levels of second divisions. Like where Ryan Richards played. Plays in a league that is not really professional. yes they pay but it is just D-League.

These are not true professional level leagues. They are more like semi pro.

There is only leagues like Israel, France, Germany, Baltic, Turkey, new second level Russian league, 2nd divisions in Italy, Spain, Greece that are really true professional leagues.

All those other leagues are like D-League level. They pay the players but they are not a true pro level type league.

So Italy is a mid level league. Not a top level one. It is worse than Adriatic but it is comparable. But compared to United, A1, ACB there is no comparison at all. It is far worse than those leagues. Those are the top tier leagues and Italy isn't even in discussion with them.

Anyway McIntyre has been one of the better point guards in Euroleague the last 3 years so he can definitely play in NBA. He is much better than Rubio is.

So, by your own definitions, the top Italian League is among the best professional leagues in Europe.

    Thanks for playing.

Now, let's move on to another question. Why are so many Euro teams willing to play a 32 year old smurf that couldn't play above the DLeague in America, over 6M per year?

They do not deserve any links because of how they treat me and how many lies and rumors they spread about me.
