I'm the type of guy who loved ''heels'', when I was younger I pulled for the NWO, I love villains, but society have us to pretend that we're good people, hence always trying to root for the ''good guy''.
The more articles I see about how Wade/Lebron/Bosh should be investigated for collusion, the more I want the Heat to shut everyone up and start dominating. I'm no bandwagon Heat fan, but I respect Pat Riley, Lebron James, Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh and company for wanting to create something special.
For wanting to be different.
For wanting to do what makes them happy.
For not wanting to do what society tells them too.
Again, whining wont make your team much better, that is why I hated Cuban when he tried to get the commish to investigate this whole fiasco.

Mj had pippen (HOF in his prime), rodman(HOF in his prime), grant(perenial allstar in his prime) plus awesome role players like kukoc and bj armstrong (in their prime).
Magic had kareem (old HOF but still all star level > bosh today), worthy( HOF in his prime) michael cooper (dptoa, 5 times first d team), ac green( one time all star, prime), b scott, k rambis and probably the most stakked team ever.
Bird had mchale(hof prime), parish (very good as a complimentary piece, weak hof, prime) and walton (old but 6th man level) plus k johnson(all star a bit past his prime) & danny ainge(all star)
Kobe had shaq(prime HOF, most dominant since wilt, kobe second banana by far), gasol (perenial all star, prime), lamar odom( 6th man level) plus role players like horry, artest/ariza defensive specialist... you can say shaq in his prime achieved the second highest level of play after that of dream's short prime.
Now somebody explain to me how these ######s can say they didn't have HOF teamates in their mother in prime and uber stakked teams?

The more I hate on the Heat....the more I hate the Heat.
I tend to agree with the OP. The more people knock a great collection of talent, because of how they were formed, the more I want the Heat to dominate. It seems that as everyone nips at them for being too good, too good to have an individual legacy, the more I think about how great this team could be collectively. Who cares if Lebron is never Michael Jordan if he gets 8 rings out of this?

I assume that's a reference to the Pistons. Yes, Joe Dumars has done as marvelous a job screwing this team up in the last two years than he did building it from 2001-2004. There's no denying that wasting money on Ben Gordon and Charlie Villanueva last summer was ridiculous. I am not responding to this as a Pistons fan, but more as a fan of the NBA and someone who has had more than a passing interests in the careers of the greats.
James Worthy is not mentioned in the same sentence as Tim Duncan, Karl Malone, Bob Pe , and all the other great power forwards. However, he is mentioned in the same sentence with Magic Johnson, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Michael Cooper, Bob McAdoo, and Byron Scott. He is still in the Hall-of-Fame, been Finals MVP, and is considered one of the greats on one of the greatest teams in NBA history--the Showtime Lakers. I happen to believe that James is more Magic than Worthy (that belongs to Bosh not just because of their position, but their talent and status), but it shows how James' legacy could change.
And instead of complaining about the fact he's not what we expected, we should embrace it. We should enjoy the fact that he's gone off-script and we have no idea how this will shake out.
This is a team sport. Is it better to be a part of a great team or have a great individual legacy? That is the question before us. Who do we value more--Allen Iverson or James Worthy?
