You would think FOX would be for the mosque!
News Corp.'s second-largest shareholder, after the Murdoch family, is Prince Alwaleed bin Talal (pictured above ), the nephew of Saudi Arabian King Abdullah, and one of the world's richest men.
Saudi Arabia, which is ruled by Alwaleed's uncle King Abdullah, is, of course, an authoritarian petro-monarchy that actually is governed by Sharia law and is known as one of the top global sponsors of terrorism.

Um, rather ironic isn't it?
You would think FOX would be for the mosque!
nah, the Repug mosque-erade is all and only about politics, and politics is all about money.
btw, Rupert Murdoch's mother was Jewish.
I doubt all those Fox news patriots know that the same News Corp that's owned by a Wahhabist Saudi prince just donated a million dollars to the Republican party. Of course they'll never find out because the only network they watch is the same terrorist funded network that's doing it.
He also has investments in Time Warner, Kodak, Apple, Pepsi, Citi, Motorolla, etc. He seems to invest in Blue Chip growth co.'s. I don't understand why this is news? It would be one thing if News Corp was doing something unethical. This is racist that an investor has to be a muslim investor first. That you think because he is muslim, he has to have a religious stance with his investments. Would you be saying this about a Christian?
Can you say BigBigBig Oil Interests, ruling Big Right Media?
Muslim doesnt really matter...unless you want to make it an issue SnC...its about big oil owning the airwaves at fox...
and this guy is no passive investor here...this is not just part of his portfolio, so dont even bother with that lame ass argument...this guy and rupert own the airwaves, and the policies of the right-wing if you ask me...
face it. your party is bought and paid for with oil money. you might as well have Michael Steele start wearing penzoil patches, cause you guys have sold the out.
and continue to sell our country out as a result.
We report, you decide.
Oh really? I don't think their high-tech lynching of Shirley Sherrod's going to win them any Pulitzer awards, do you? Still an interesting connection though, don't you think consider how loudly Fox News has been been banging the anti-muslim drum over the GZM.It would be one thing if News Corp was doing something unethical.
Interesting that you associate Islam with race. This is racist that an investor has to be a muslim investor first.
Saying what, exactly?Would you be saying this about a Christian?
What did Fox do in regards to Sherrod? Interesting that you want to play simantics with me, knowing the main point I was stating.
Fox News
"we deceive, you believe"
wtf are simantics anyway...
Remember this gem?
I actually mentioned Alaweed in that thread. I don't think it's a big deal.
So which do the Saudis own...Fox News, Repug Party, or both?the same News Corp that's owned by a Wahhabist Saudi prince just donated a million dollars to the Republican party...
And is there any chance in that these strategic market "investments" end there?
Interesting that the progressives in here think that it is improper for muslims to invest in the stock market.
not at all. its just creates a of reason to distrust the message on Fox is all...
conflict of interest doesnt stem from religion (only someone who sees the issues in terms of race/creed/religion would say something like this...like a fox news watcher)...
conflict of interest here flows from:
1. Big Oil owning a major news outlet and pushing imperialistic policies, neocon propoganda, and ultra-conservative domestic policies down the sheeple's collective consciousness, (all to support the continual extraction and marketing of their "black-gold" business interests and even in the face of dead bodies around the world and bankrupt nations, including our own),
VS.
2. the rights of the United States people to fair, balanced and unbiased media coverage.
sound like fox is doing this country a real service.
when wil you sheepish repugs wake the up
Oh, I get it. It's not that he is a muslim, it is that he is from Saudi Arabia.
What a subtle distinction. You progressives are really open minded.
And the fact that he chooses to invest in a successful company like Newscorp is obviously wrong...
So you find it perfectly acceptable that General Electric owns NBC and 1/2 of MSNBC, Westinghouse owns CBS, Disney owns ABC, Time Warner owns CNN, etc.
Is it OK if people from Saudi Arabia own stock in THOSE companies?
atrocious straw man argument...doesnt even warrant a response really...
ing lightweight
saudi's have the right to buy.
they got some damn good pilots, too.
you still haven't dealt with this, and your calling me lightweight?![]()
the best you can do is pull some bigot argument out your ass?
