I love that the kids are going back to school. The traffic around school time, not so much.

lame games but i do know of one that is free online. guildwars! my old roommate lives his life through that pathetic game. anyhow if he could spend hrs, weeks, months, yrs on it then that kid will get great pleasure passing the time in a made up world too.

I don't usually agree with you on a lot of things, but this one I do agree with. There are plenty of smart and amazing people out there who don't go to college. Or if they do it just takes longer than the usual 4 years because of various reasons.

He finishes his work early and Starts to act up. They tested him for advance..but failed. I asked him about his work. He said its easy and boring.

my kid always thought school was easy & boring too. He is in an accelerated program now... for 6, 7, and 8th grade. Starts 7th grade monday...
my kid tested for accelerated back in 3rd grade... but did not make it either.
By the end of 5th grade, he made the accelerated program.
