Steve Nash trade rumors have exploded, as Nash reportedly demanded a trade from Phoenix. New Nash trade rumors have the Suns exploring what they can possibly do with their star player, but it is starting
to appear very likely that Nash could be traded soon. According to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports, a list of teams that Nash would want to go to has already been delivered to the team by his team of handlers. If you thought that the LeBron James saga turned sour or hurt his reputation, it suddenly appears that Nash could make James look good here.
If you ask Nash or his team of people, they won't use the word "demanded," instead opting for "requested" when it comes to trade talks, because demanding a trade will get you fined in the NBA. Instead he is just forcing Phoenic to take action, basically stating that he won't be signing a contract extension, no matter how much money the Suns put on the table. The worst fear of the organization is now about to come true, and, if they don't act quickly, they aren't going to get enough assets in return to make this seem like a good trade for Phoenix. This is where teams entering the equation start offering "expiring contracts" in order to come out on top.
Trade rumors involving Nash don't appear close to settling down, but Phoenix might want to figure out what to do in this situation rather quickly, and not deal with the distraction and the drama all season. If they wait until next offseason, they are going to get even less value for Nash(probably just draft picks), so they need to act while someone is willing to overpay for him. Send him to the New York Knicks for about 10 years of draft picks, Anthony Randolph, Danilo Gallinari, and the expiring contract of Eddie Curry. Make them also take Jason Richardson to get him out of town, and the deal comes out almost respectable.

I doubt it, they're still paying Terry Porter to not coach after Nash quit on him and demanded he be jettisoned.
