most of the plays where gino is in, now i know why his developing a bald patch on his head...duncan keeps on tapping that head of his after every play both are involve in
Man he used to put those numbers up effortlessly and you would hardly notice at the timeI MISS TIMMAY in his prime.
TIMMY is a ing beast! The thing that has changed the most about him, except for athleticism, is his FT technique.
My favorite two seasons by any players are Hakeem's 93-94 season and Duncan 02-03 season
Iverson's 2000-2001 MVP season was amazing too
Yeah, he is a troublemaker, a ballhog, is late to practice, blablabla, true, and he deserves the criticism
But man, that season, he was exciting
td ftw
Beyond Legendary
I love his bounce pass to Malik at 5.49 and to Manu at 5.35. Snatches rebounds from everywhere. Dominating D. Smooth jumper. Hops. The man has it all. There's no words to describe Tim Duncan in his prime.
We've all been witness to one of the finest careers in all of sports in all of the world in all of history.
A toast to Tim Duncan![]()
Duncan is such a good passer.
So damn underrated, everyone will realize how much they didn't appreciate him when he finally hangs it up.![]()
Take THAT, Michael Finley!
Watched the whole thing. TP's coming out party was great to see.
The thing stands out to me is definitely the Spurs size. It was pretty much an unstoppable force. With old TD, Splitter and Blair, the size this year will be almost as good as a poor man's TD/Rob/Rose as far as getting boards and having an edge on the paint. Dyess also provides some insurance. It's not the Laker's frontcourt, but I'm certainly confident that we'll be seeing a significantly better product inside than the last two years.
SJax and Bowen. Man it's so great to watch the Spurs with decent wing role players. I can only dream that Hill/RJ/Anderson will have the positive impact they brought every night.
Try to keep a collection of Duncan and Hakeem games on my comp. Shaq attack said he'll be uploading the Tim Duncan game 1 against the Nets
32/20/7/6
Quite an underrated finals performance.
What a monster.
now I understand why Dallas fans hate the Spurs so much![]()
Thats a pretty good list there, two seasons I think of when thinking of pure dominance and just ripping you appart in the playoffs without any trouble.
BTW TAKE A LOOK at part 7 of that game three on youtube and pause it at around 6:45, he had 37 vs LA game 6, 40 against Dallas in game one (I am convinced we blew a sweep when we dropped that damn game lol), 32 in game two against the Mavs and then game three he had 34 pts! What a stretch there.
I forgot how good he was for a second, you get caught up in the moment and forget how truly dominant he was in his prime and can be when at his best. I bet most younger people who never saw that will not know how good he was outside of word of mouth, either that some are so game to game or year to year they forgot how good Tim was in those days.

Duncan shot 63.2% that game... crazy.
TP also had a great game: 29 points, 8 rebounds (!), 3 assists, 2 steals on 56.5% shooting.
I kinda laughed when I saw TP miss a half-jumper half-layup weird shot on the fast break that TD rebounded and put back in. I think the chances of TP missing it now are close to nil.
damn that throw down at 5:55
I've been saying for a while duncan should start shooting free throws like he used too with the ball high up and his arm bent it's so much more effective like that then having the ball down low then has to bring the ball back up and shoot the free throw
What a master, what a mind.
Is there anything he can't do!? How do you guard a guy that skilled, that versatile, that complete!?
Yea I think I'm gonna try to post game 1 of the finals when it gets uploaded today
Tim Duncan- 32 points, 20 rebounds, 6 assists, 7 blocks, 3 steals, 11/17 FG, 10/14 FT
An all time great finals performance that gets overshadowed by his game 6
Those numbers are flat out insane! I remember then saying after that game NJ was happy they did not have to face Shaq this year! They said well this guy is pretty good too(Announcers). They didn't face Shaq but they got Tim who was in his prime and put up MONSTER stats those whole finals pretty much.
