Wake me up if he tells how Wade came to him 1-2 years ago telling him to clear the roster because the SBF decided allready to team up...
Pat Riley hits back at those who took shots at Heat

Miami Heat President Pat Riley broke a two-month silence Friday by wondering why so many around the NBA could not hold their tongues when it came to his team's July signings of LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh.
In his first expansive comments since skimming off the top of this offseason's free-agent class, Riley hit back at those who took shots at the decision by the three All-Stars to join forces in South Florida.
Riley was particularly animated in discussing the ongoing disparagement of the moves by TNT analyst Charles Barkley, the Hall of Fame forward.
"Charles Barkley, to me, went way over the top. I thought way, way, way over the top," Riley said. "I think Charles is probably the only guy in the league that can get away with what he gets away with. For some reason, he just gets away with it. And calling these guys a bunch of punks, it's a personal attack.
"They are not that. LeBron isn't that. Dwyane is surely not that, and neither is Chris. And Charles knows that. And for him just to say that is wrong."
Riley also took umbrage with comments emanating from the Orlando, namely from Magic General Manager Otis Smith and Magic coach Stan Van Gundy, the former Heat coach and long-time Riley bench assistant.
"Stan's out there making comments about Chris Bosh being a lapdog to Dwyane Wade or something like that," Riley said. "I don't know what happened to some of these guys along the way."
Smith had spoken about how the "great ones" do it on their own and "usually stay in one location." He said of LeBron, "I thought he was, I guess, more of a compe or."
"I thought that was an absolutely stupid remark," Riley said. "He never made any kind of comment like that when he signed Rashard Lewis and he brought him down from Seattle with a $128 million contract or anything like that."

So is Pat Riley comparing Rashard Lewis to Lebron?Smith had spoken about how the "great ones" do it on their own and "usually stay in one location." He said of LeBron, "I thought he was, I guess, more of a compe or."

Funny how Riley didn't wanna touch the rumors of him taking over if Spoelstra struggles
Riley hit on the truth. People in here are unable to see through their homerism, but everything he said was spot on.
I am not a Heat or a Riley fan but that does not stop me from seeing things as they are.
Spolestra has to win and win big early ...and ring. If they struggle or don't ring Riley wont have to "force" himself in, they will be begging riley to show them the way ...
BTW I love riles, before the past 2 seasons he was STILL my favorite NBA coach ...I have to give the man credit he has the makings of a dynasty ...
In my book, Riley is an ok guy. What he said makes sense to me. However, he probably should have said nothing. His comments make him look butthurt in my mind. Better to fight back with his team, not his mouth.
You do have a point, he does seem bitter. It's like the jets ...no sense in being humble now. Embrace the hate!!!
Riles just being opportunistic...Notice he didn't say about Magic, MJ, or Larry Bird and they all spoke out against these punks..
Lakers History notwithstanding....Riles did quit on the Heat after they lost several key players to free agency while Zo battled health issues...,he chickened out just before the '03-'04 season to supposedly focus on his duties as GM... (which oddly enough didn't seem to matter when Riley thought he could get credit for another le run the year before).
After they traded for Shaq in '05, he ed his pants at the thought of coaching for another le run...so he "reluctantly"dismissed Stan ( Ron Jeremy look alike) (who allegedly resigned to spend more time with his kids) even though Stan had guided the team well through previous seasons.
Pat's ass was itching on this one. He had to give token lip service ( so he chose Barkley) to all the criticism so Lebron wouldn't spit up too much on his baby bib. Pat knows when to hold em and when to fold em but what he doesn't realize quite yet is that Lebron will cause him to have blue balls. He will come close with Lebron but he won't be able to achieve that good ole fashioned nut he's looking for.and whatever he is able to release will be unloaded or ejaculated on all the faces of the Heat fans and the Spur bandwagonners...

Just when I thought you couldn't, you still managed to turn that post into something gay congrats.

Ace -- I suggest you keep your mouth open so when Riley shoots his load toward the crowd after the Heat lose to Boston you can be there to catch it...
first thing that I thought of when reading this as well.
Yeah that's Riley grasping at straws. Rashard is not a #1 guy you build a team around.
Did Riles say anything about Magic, Bird and Jordan who all slammed the move by Lebron? Why did he leave those guys out of his comments?
What's with Laker fans and their fantasy of one male ejaculating into another male's mouth?
Ace, readin' his porn stash aloud.
tee, hee.
Take that back. In Giuseppe's case its little boys.
I apologize for being insensitive ACE... in LA we have no idea what getting ed on feels like. if it ain't rape it's in the mouth of our opponents...we're spoiled Laker fans...
16 and counting...![]()
Really?
I don't think the movie brokeback mountain was produced in Miami.....
No it was produced in Canada...and as far as I'm aware the NBA's Canadian connection ( Chris Bosh) just migrated to Miami...Brokeback Miami
