    Team Predictions:
The Spurs finished 2nd in the Southwest last season, then went on to defeat the Mavericks easily in the 1st round only to be resoundingly humiliated by the Phoenix Suns in the Western Conference Semifinals. I think the Spurs win the Southwest Division this year, and advance all the way to the Western Conference finals to face the Los Angeles Lakers.

    55-27 - Southwest Division Champions
Win 1st Round V Portland Trailblazers
Win Western Conference Semifinals V Oklahoma City Thunder
Lose Western Conference Finals V Los Angeles Lakers

    Here's my best case scenario:

Big 3 are all healthy by playoff time.
RJ becomes extremely productive playing off the ball and becomes a defensive stopper.
    Bonner finally hits clutch shots.
    Hill becomes MIP.
    Blair develops a mid-range jumper.
Splitter becomes a defensive presence in the middle.
Anderson, Neal, Temple and Gee exceed expectations.
A SF comes out from nowhere and becomes the next Bruce Bowen.

    Team wins southwest division.
Beats a crippled LA team in the WCF.
Beats an uncoordinated Heat team in the Finals.

I would love to see that happen myself. I think if TD, TP & MG are all healthy AND Jefferson is more consistent.. Spurs could easily walk away with their 5th le.

Obviously, most of that was tongue in cheek. At least I hope so.
    Here's a somewhat realistic scenario...I hope.

    Healthy Big Three
RJ with one year under his belt plays better within the system
Hill and Blair continue to improve.
Splitter provides some needed length on the defensive end and puts up
    10 and 7.
Anderson gives our bench some scoring punch.
any two of Neal, Temple, and Gee can play without totally sucking
Bonner hits enough shots during the regular season to maybe win a game or two for playoff seeding. But doesn't make enough shots that Pop plays him during the playoffs.

I think this is good enough to win the West.

I'm really excited to see what Anderson brings to the table. If he can knock down shots as easily as he did at Okie Lite, then the Spurs will definitely fill a much needed hole.

Splitter looked pretty darn good in the Worlds, so I think he will also help fill in the hole on the front court.

as long as the Spurs remain healthy, they do have a GREAT chance of winning the Finals.
