FORT WORTH, Texas - Burger fans, your time to rejoice is near. In-N-Out, the iconic California-based chain, is coming to Fort Worth.
The much-loved franchise is opening a restaurant at the corner of West 7th and Currie Streets by mid-2011, according to developer Cypress Equities.
The location was chosen because of its pedestrian-friendly elements.
Rumors of a Garland location surfaced in May when the city planning commission approved zoning for a drive-thru at Firewheel Town Center.
Nothing concrete has come of those Garland plans, however.

damn. if i wanted a texas location, i wish it was SA. Taking away the california/arizona/nevada "innout" appeal now with this.
they'll probably make changes for texans.
like make the burger........submerge it in batter......and fry it in lard.
I don't see any reason why these shouldn't start expanding out to Houston, San Antonio, or Austin once they have distribution centers in Texas.![]()
They just opened a Freebirds in Denton and they're WORKING ON a 5 Guys and Del Taco, too.
Anybody ever tried Del Taco? Is it like a Taco Bell or Cabana or what?
Del Taco is trash. It's maybe a step up from Jack in the Crack tacos, but a huge step down from Taco Cabana. Way better than Taco Bell though (the only fast food anywhere near as bad as Taco Bell is ing Long John Silvers).
Or use home grown Texas beef.
You obviously don't.
Good to know, bum. I'll be sure to avoid it.
okay yall suck. im really hungry now. time to go to 7/11 for the 2 for 2 hotdog special.
