NEW YORK (AP) -- Katy Perry''s cleavage is fine for Russell Brand — not so for Elmo and "Sesame Street."
The children's show says it won't air a taped segment featuring the "California Gurls" singer and Elmo. The pop star — who is known for her risque outfits — wore a gold bustier top as she sang a version of her hit "Hot N Cold." But some felt it was too revealing for the kid set.
"Sesame Street" said in a statement Thursday that in light of the "feedback we've received" after the bit was aired on YouTube, they won't include it on the show. While the show said it was still available on YouTube, it had been removed by the official Sesame Street YouTube channel. Other versions on YouTube have generated thousands of hits.
A rep for Perry said Thursday that Perry enjoyed her time with Sesame Street and Elmo, and pointed out that the clip is still online on her website.

I fail to see the problem here, seriously! It's not even slightly gratuitous boob. Must be all the sagging middle-aged mothers.
If any of those complainers had seen the skit or even had kids, they'd understand it was well done and fun for everyone AND that kids see s since basically they are born and aren't getting hard-ons over her yellow dress.

According to the producers she's actually not showing any cleavage at all. The upper chest portion is just kind of flesh colored. If you freeze frame it's pretty clear that the silver necklace is actually a neckline. Still that's not a whole lot of dress. My guess is that puppeteer running Elmo convinced the crew to shoot the segment anyway so he could get an upskirt view on her.
One thing this controversy has ensured: This will be the most jacked-off-to clip of Sesame Street in at least 25 years.
Well it's much clearer now on my laptop, than it was on my phone, that it's one of those kind of costumes the figure skaters wear with the flesh colored fabric. But I guess people could still say it's a bit too much cleavage for a kids' show. I've never really paid attention to her before this; she's adorable.

dont know what it is but perry is quickly entering megan fox status. people used to think she was amazingly hot but now she is actually ok.
Damn, I actually thought that was a well done Sesame Street spot.
Its a good thing that these people saved kids from the horrors that are boobs. God knows that every kid who would have watched this would have been on Maury by the age of 13 and on porn set by the age of 18. Boobs are the devil.
