Guys with calf tats aren't allowed in, tbh
been wanting to go to kobe's... see it all the time when i go to guajillos right next door.
Went to the one in San Marcos...Steak and chicken with hibachi vegetables...green tea ice cream..sake...good stuff.
And without high school diplomas, tbh
ah man... i was told not to try the green tea ice cream by my aunt but i think i'm gonna do it anyhow. she's old and has no taste buds anyhow.
Oriental food?

It's good, but over priced entertainment. I always thought Tokyo steakhouse was 10 times better in food and entertainment. If you make a reservation, ask for Shamu... guy is hilarious.
tokyo steakhouse? i'm gonna have to google that.
Unfortunately, they still require you to show your high school diploma at the door
I like it. The food is pretty damn good. Entrainment? It's ok, but the food is good.
ate there almost died, prob won't go back ever again
Benihana's is tasty, but I think it's overpriced for the size of portions you get.
Food was good. But overpriced...last time I went I got the only white guy.. white guy doing tricks. I could.get that anywhere.
The best thing about Benihana is their lunch menu in their lunch dining room. Bento boxes and high quality sushi at amazing prices. Their dinner is damn good, but the cost and sitting around a table with a bunch of strangers.
Besides, last time I went there I got some literally crackhead, white guy cooking my food and he did an extremely ty job. Getting a good chef makes all the difference.
You Went to San Marcos

Bump this for my review
Had my birthday dinner with my family yesterday at Benihana. We had a reservation, walked in and were seated immediately. Our chef, Manuel, was adorable and very funny. The meal was amazing. Between the 5 of us we had steak, chicken, lobster, shrimp and scallops, fried rice and yakisoba. It was all delicious and perfectly cooked. The way it is presented seems like you are not getting much food, but we all left stuffed and there is at least one meal for 2 still in the fridge.
The tab for dinner for 5, including 3 drinks from the bar and gratuity, was $250. A bit pricey for an everyday dinner, but for a "special occasion" dinner for our family, this was not a surprise. The lunch specials are very reasonable.
I had not been to Benihana in years and never in SA; it was definitely a good experience.![]()
^^^ Glad you had a good birthday meal.![]()
Went to Benihana's in Detroit. Food was WAY overpriced for the size of the portions, but the entertainment was ok. Not great, but at least they were trying.
Can't knock the food itself, though. Pretty damn good, tbh.
Those chinamen can cook.
The one time I've eaten at Benihana, the steak was very tough and not cooked well. The miso soup is delicious, though.
Your chef at Benihana's was named Manuel?![]()
This is San Antonio, wtf were you expecting lol.
Oh I don't know... Yoshi or Kiuchi or Ichiro or something like that...
