On Thursday night, the league's biggest rivalry continued with another hard fought contest between the Las Vegas Locos and the Florida Tuskers. These 2 teams met for the 5th time in the league's short history, and put on another hard fought contest ending in a game winning field goal by Parker Douglass as time expired, giving Vegas their 1st regular season win. The Tuskers have no lost 2 of 3 games this season after only losing the Championship game last year (to the Locos).

The UFL followed up with a much hyped game between the Sacramento Mountain Lions and the Omaha Nighthawks. This game featured a compelling QB matchup as a pair of multiple-time Pro-Bowl selection QBs dominated the headlines. Despite that, the game started as a defensive battle, and wasn't decided until the Mountain Lions missed a field goal with less than 2 minutes to go in the game. This game was the second straight sell-out for Omaha.
