Tim Duncan is not just a forward, he is a power forward and Kaka is not just a midfielder, he's an attacking midfielder. That's why many say Kaka is a forward because he has played up top. I think that under Mourinho's formation he will play his natural position as a midfielder, behind two forwards.

^ Now that I think about it more, maybe the NBA game and players have evolved to the point where PF and C are no longer applicable. Maybe they should just be called front court players. The same might be applied to forwards and attacking midfielders.

I honestly think you'd be able to switch up Messi with Messi, and Messi coming off the bench to provide spark, and you'd still be good.

haha im not a rooney fan, i think he benefits from the team and not his own individuality
as for pirlo, of course im biased, IMO he is the best midfielder ever and the fact that he is italian only re-emphasizes it haha

i saw the le and the thread starter and thought the list would be bad, but this bad? has pirlo ever been number 1 at anything? villa the best forward on earth?? the only defenders on the defenders list that actually play defense, are decrepit. the only way you could have made it worse, is if you fit van bommel in there somewhere.

if this list is anywhere near accurate, then I should correct my statement the other day that there are not as many great players today: there are NO great players today. what a sorry list
