The only part of the le I could see on the main page was Spurs sign Jacque Vaughn...scary
I was scared for a second, all I could see was "Spurs sign Jacque Vaughn...", good pick up by the Spurs!
I thought they already did this 3 months ago.
Just for the fun of it, can one of the mods change the le of this thread to "Spurs sign Jacque Vaughn" (leave the coaching staff part off)![]()
That's now six assistant coaches. Spurs must be doing well financially.
jacque had coaching written all over him
Turned that job down already.
read that a month or so ago

Said Pop, on Vaughn: "The same attributes that made him the ultimate pro as a player will make him an outstanding coach." #spurs
Spurs have formalized addition of Jacque Vaughn to coaching staff. He fills slot vacated when James Borrego left for NOLA.
They went on to expand on that, he's not replacing borrego per se. They created a new position for him.
Any ideas if he will be on the bench on a nightly basis?
Yeah full time assistant coach.
his sole job will be to warm up the jacuzzi for Pop after games and wait for him in it with nothing but a thong and a bottle of wine.
Wow what an astute well thought out statement...
A solid addition. Overachieving point guards seem to make good coaches. I read earlier he was helping players with their shooting...not so sure about that but he should be good with most everything else.
This is not surprising. In a couple of years, I would expect him to get coaching offers from other teams. Good job Jacque!
I felt like I saw this coming after he retired. I'm happy for him.
Awesome!
Cant wait to see how he works with Hill and Temple.
Is better so see him on the bench than on the court
