palm went bankrupt recently or was sold right? i guess there you go
Does anyone own this dumb thing?? My daughter has one and we have exhausted all our resources (except getting off my butt and driving her to the AT&T store) to try to figure out how to send photos via text message. All the tutorials and answer centers guide us thru the multistepped process and we get that just fine; it's just that after you press send and the phone says it has been sent---the recepient doesn't get anything. And she can't recieve any.
I suspect there is some place in the phone to enable mms messaging, but I'll be damned if I can find it. And after she spent 3 hours on the phone with tech support just setting up the darn thing, I'm not willing to go there....

At one point, I actually considered getting that phone. That or the HTC Aria. Then the iPhone 4 came out, and let's just say I'm happy with my choice. It shouldn't be that hard to figure out though. You might have just been spending too much time with it and were missing the obvious.
Way to completely ignore the OPs question in lieu of talking about how awesome your iPhone is.You're right, Android fans are the ones with complexes.
OP: Did the phone company say that you're able to send MMS on your plan? I'm just making sure that your messages are being "allowed" on the cell tower.
You should probably get a replacement phone just to be on the safe side. If it's not on their end, it's your hardware.
BTW I have an Evo and it is BEAAAAAAAAAAAAST. I can MMS with it all day!
But yeah, I don't know anything about your phone and have nothing else to add to this discussion.

Yes the data plan includes MMS, but the phone supposedly can't send MMS on wi-fi so we've turned that off and still nothing.
I agree about the replacement; she loved her Centro and used till it fell apart, but they don't have that one anymore.
Thanks![]()
It's really a strange situation. I hope a new phone fixes it for you guys. The guy who signed you up could even have configured the phone incorrectly -- there are a lot of possible causes here.
i had the pre and it ended up being a piece of , but can whoever she sends the pic to receive regular texts?
I have a Epic and I love it. I also have nothing to add to the op.
But it was number 8 on the top 10 phones of 2010! Are you saying some one could lie on a youtube video?! No I won't believe it! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LqyxcGZHw6M
Yes her texting sending/recieving is just fine (she's at about 9000 for the month). I believe this one should also be deemed a POS.
