They give everything they have to beat LA yesterday and still can't. Then they lose to the sorry ass Warriors

Monta Ellis was Micheal Jordan + Reggie Miller tonight
A shame. I know it was backtoback but with that many FT's you shouldnt lose even with ellis going off. Their backcourt scores but gives it right back on the other end. thought Rox were a defensive team? Martin or Brooks needs to go. No way you win with both.
Yeah, there's is no way the Rockets can compete for a le with Brooks and Martin at their starting backcourt. You need play DEFENSE if your going to compete. Brooks will NEVER be a good defensive player, his quickness helps but he's just too damn small. If I were the Rockets, I'd trade him while he is in his prime to get a passing/defensive minded point guard. EX: Chauncey Billups.
They need to package Hill, Brooks and a pick for an elite PG and a wing defender
At least it was a close game on the road.
Plus I'm sure Chris Bosh and Joe Johnson will play better next game.
When Lowry gets back he will help our D at the pg position. Depending on the matchup, you may see him start. Martin isn't a great defender, but through two games he has played slightly above average. So, until he starts to revert, I won't say his D is a weakness because, so far it hasn't been.
no it was rockets who had the FT advantage, Kevin Martin got all his points off FTs.
No team will trade them an elite PG for that.
It seems they'll be having more trouble than some expect.

I told you, Brooks is a better version of Barea, nothing more. Allstar my ass....
Cant run an offense, no defense whatsover, undersized...he should come off the bench against 2nd units like Crawford/Terry. And for sure dont pair him with Martin all the time.
And Barea should have rosterspot #10+....
Are you ing re ed? That has to be one of the worst comparisons I've seen in quite a while.
I do not know why Adleman did not play Courtney Lee on Ellis more. I mean Monta was on fire and you got to put a defensive stopper on him. I guess he thought Brooks would outscore Monta?
Are you ing blind not to see it?
Yes, he is a better version of him (scoringwise), nothing more. Per 36:

not really. both undersized, both suck ass at defense, both are mediocre passers, but both are solid shooters/scorers. Brooks is basically a considerably more athletic JJ Barea.
Sounds about right, except Brooks is exponentially better at shooting.
Both no real value to 'winning basketball'
Possibly, although Barea is no slouch of a shooter either. He takes a lot of bad shots though, but when he stops running around dribbling like an eccentric mexican and sets up, an open three for Barea is pretty much automatic.
the rockets ain't winning many games. they can score but they can't stop anyone
