I wouldn't say easily. There's only 5 forward spots to go around and Duncan, Durant, Nowitzki and Gasol are locks for 4 of those 5 spots. Scola will be in a group with guys like Melo, Griffin, Milsap, Aldridge and maybe even 1 or 2 others. And team record plays a big part in coaches decision when voting for those reserve spots.

Team record matters. Whether it should or not is another discussion, but the fact is that it does. I'm not saying Scola's not going to make it, but it's anything but a no-brainer.

I hate to agree with Trollinger. But it's true rockets have lost their games by small margins and have played 4 big boys (LA, SA, NO, Denver)

I think Scola will be snubbed the same way Manu was Snubbed for Roy the year Manu was putting MVP kind of numbers.
Weird, but Manu made the all-star in 2005 while he was a beast in the PO he wasnīt very imressive numbers wise in that regular season.
I think Scola has only one chance to get in and is by the chinese votes, and they seem to hate him because they canīt understand how a 6-9 guy has more shots and a better shooting percentage than their Yao. So no chance.
