413 total yds, 6 TD's.
I could only imagine what he'd be like if he were still in his prime.
Solid MVP candidate. Prob between him and Rivers, with edge to Rivers if he gets that ty team to the playoffs. Manning is doing the same thing as Rivers (winning with at WR/TE) but SD's skill position talent is lower and Manning's won it the last two in a row so voters are going to want to give it to someone else.
If Vick finishes the year #1 in passer rating, zero picks and a division win it'd be really hard to give to someone else.
seems to me right now it's
1a Peyton
1b Vick
3 Rivers
nod to Manning for playing in all the games.
Vick has been my favorite NFL player since he came out of Va. Tech. I was extremely pissed when he was sent to jail for killing dogs while other NFL players have driven drunk and killed/injured people and gotten away with probation. Weak.I never thought Vick would get back, much less surpass the level of play he was at in Atlanta. But damn...the guy is ballin' right now. Can't wait for Sunday's showdown against the Giants.
Vick's a stud. Extremely hard to stop a QB like that, much like Denard Robinson, Cameron Newton of NCAA.
Vick's current success is a pretty decent indication of Tim Tebow's future in the NFL, IMO..
I lift up my eyes to the hills—where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.
I guess I'm just dogging Manning because he's a lock to put up this kind of season every year and I kind of expect this from him now. He was on pace for his greatest season ever before all the injuries and he's still only thrown four picks through nine games which, without doing any number crunching, is probably a better td-int ratio than at this point last year. If he can beat the Patriots next week, I'd probably consider locking him in as my MVP vote since the Colts are ing terrible on the road this year and the Pats are a quality opponent. Plus after that they've got SD and Dallas, both at home, which should be W's if they get Addai back.
Vick for MVP!!!!
Holy , what a beat down last night!
So you are cheering for a dog killer ?
Vick was playing so well last night even the dogs were barking their approval.
Shouldn't you be making a sandwich or something?
Pretty much.
Don't you have some filing to do or something?
I cheer when Fuddruckers kills a cow.
What are the chances this guy will sign another 100 million dollar contract again? Personally I felt they went to far on Vick for killing some dogs but I never would have imagine him ever getting close to all that money he lost. I would be surprised if the Eagles franchised him. Last person on your team you want to is the QB. I know he would get alot of money for a year but people want a long ass contract with gurantees.
.....and then there's the looming lockout coming.
I'm betting his agent gets him a big signing bonus.
lol DLF saying Vick is going to hurt the Eagles. Wish the Cowboys would have gotten him last season![]()
He still very well might, from a big picture perspective.
He's playing at a level that he's never reached before so I don't know what to make of it. Yet.
Still want to see how he handles adversity, and it most definitely will come, before I get fully on board. Though he could get dinged again and then his durability will be a concern.
little better then romo huh
jerry would be smart to empty the bank on him
Funny end to the whole Vick performance on Monday was when DeSean Jackson said, "We came out and played like pitbulls..." lolz Long Beach Poly at it's finest...lol @ Cal.
this - you don't get to celebrate after you quit on your team. Its one thing taking from Eagles fans who stuck with them but from fair weather fans? Oh no.
Who said I stopped being a fan? GTFO
Lame
Really
