    I agree..is he top 10 though?..

I don't think he is better than Lebron, Rapist, Wade, Pau, Howard, Paul, Williams or Nowitzki..

Is he better than Durant or Anthony?..Rondo?..anybody else?..

CP3 should not be on that list, anybody who is scared to shoot should not be on the top 10 list.

Damn, I was trying to make a list and can't come up with 10 names better than him at the moment. Right now I can only think of (in no particular order)

    Chris Paul
    Deron Williams
    Kobe
    Lebron
    Dwight Howard

Some players I would have put before him are either playing like (Wade) or aren't head and shoulders better anymore (Nash, Dirk, Roy, Melo, Durant, Westbrook, Ginobili, Rondo, etc). So I guess he could be arguably in the Top 10.

I don't understand the rationale for DWill over Parker. I've asked many times and apparently it's such a stupid question that I never get a serious response.

Per 36 minutes - DWill's stats are inferior across the board with the exception of dishing out .7 more assists per 36 minutes.

    FG%? Parker shoots at 54.8% to DWill's 43%

Points per 36 min.? Parker scores 20.5 to DWill's 19.4

Rebounding is virtually a tie. DWill turns the ball over more and steals the ball less.

This stats per 36 min. comparison has been incredibly comparable for many years, by the way - I'm not foolishly going by the first 13 games of the '10-'11 season alone.

Accolades? Parker's had a hand in multiple championships, winning the Finals MVP in one. DWill has two all-nba second team appearances over Parker's 1. Is that the big deal?

Is his defense just so much better that it trumps everything else (notably FG% which at first glance should garner more consideration than it appears to garner)? What is it?

It's really an honest question. I have no interest making an actual argument for Parker over Dwill because I couldn't care less, which is why I offered such an amateurish, cursory overview of his statistics versus DWill's.

It's just not at all obvious to me that DWill not only is better than Parker but is apparently one of the top 10 players in the NBA right now.

For clarification - I don't think Tony Parker is one of the top 10 players in the NBA. I'm not saying Parker should replace DWill on that list.

I'm saying neither should be on that list int he first place, and that I don't see how DWill is so "obviously" superior to Parker.

During the Bulls/Lakers game they said Wade was 1 for his last 22 in the last 2 games combined. I didn't think it could get any worse than his 2 performances against Boston this year but he somehow topped those games.

In the last 2 games combined hes 5 for 26 but he missed his last 9 shots in that game so in his last 22 shots, he's 1 for 22. That's terrible

That's two games combined. Imagine if he shot 8-27 or 6-24 in one game.

DWill is clearly better. Anyone watching the games can see he has a bigger impact on the game.

You can't use 13 games worth of stats this season to make an argument. DWill may be at 43% so far this season but the past two seasons he has been at 47% with over 10 assists a game. He almost doubled Parker's assist total last year.

Stats per 36 minutes is not the measure of a player. When guys play bigger minutes and produce that is more valuable than a player than produces with more limited minutes.
