Every game "It's a trap" Seriously how can every ing game be a trap game damn people we on a 11 win streak against one of the worst teams in the league, we got depth and all the big 3 are healthy and very compe ive people, they'll get the win stop being so pessimistic.
It's certainly not a "must win" despite what many spurs fans might suggest.
We did not have a 100% win rate against sub-.500 teams in the past - not even during our championship years - and I don't see any reason to expect as much this season.
We can say that based on how we've played, it's reasonable to assume that we are the favorites in this match up (i.e. our probability of winning is > 50%) and that's all.
I don't expect the Spurs to win 100% of their games against sub-.500 teams. Losing a couple of times to sub-.500 teams won't invalidate what the Spurs have achieved thus far nor should it even matter. Regular season wins are merely a means to an end - the "end" being playoff berth with favorable seeding and optimal team development (whether it be development of individual players or more synergistic team-oriented aspects such as integrating promising new players into the rotation in a way that increases the spurs overall chances of winning playoff games).
The point here is that we are 12-1. We are not in immediate danger of failing to meet our goals of playoff berth and favorable seeding, therefore any overly egregious sense of urgency as it pertains to winning this game is patently over-dramatic and ill-advised, in my opinion.
Our "sense of urgency" to win games should be inversely proportional to our winning percentage, with "1" (i.e. corresponding to a perfect record) representing a minimal sense of urgency.

I agree this is a "trap" game. ty team, but at home. Spurs need to come out firing, no complacency.
rest the big 3 and we will still win by 30+points
It is a must win if we don't want to get trolled
We could go 30-1 to start the season and the Laker fans would still be getting they troll on, because they have nothing better to do with their lives than troll another team's site. Shows how awesome ST is, that they would rather spend their time here than a Lakers site.![]()
Totally agree. Guys could be thinking about Thanksgiving, overlooking the inferior Wolves and Beasley is hotter than hot right now. Plus the Spurs have won 12 straight against Minny. I hope that Tiago gets lots of minutes as he'll be hungry to prove himself again. Spurs just need to keep moving the ball around on the perimeter as well.
I'd like to see our bench contribute consistently: It'd be great if Neal gets 6 points, Tiago for 8pts 5reb, Bonner for 6, Hill for 8, etc.
And still hoping Blair gets more confident starting and contributes to the tune of 10pts/6reb.
I bet Udoka will play 15-20 minutes tonight. :P
Kick some ass Spurs!!
Will Ime get more minutes then Splitter? Now thats the question.
It's not a trap game as long as Spurs play hard and shut out the T-Wolves.
If we do what we did against the Cavs, then chalk it up as a win.
