    JJB can shoot the ball and he shoots well, but he still bears the most critics every time they lose. butler has the capability of whatever a SF/G is supposed to do but he still dissatisfies the mavs fans and keeps them in urgent search for a replacement.

    Mavs need another superstar to climb to lakers level imho. they are already a Top 3 in the west i firmly believe, more experienced than Hornets/Thunder, more energetic/ambitious than Spurs. there is no major weakness on their current squad tbh, which on the other hand means it's nearly impossible for them to make a significant upgrade unless they get a superstar to accompany Dirk.

    except for your german buddha the Mavs roster has no other player too valuable to lose. Iggy would be a slight upgrade so it wouldn't be a "bad move" to trade Butler for him, but it wouldn't do much good either. Chandler was a great purchase because he strengthened alot their C, which used to be their shortest stave priorly.
