led zeppelin 1974
Radioead at the Canal in 2001.
Watching Neil Armstrong "live" as he stepped on the moon.
Considering shows I've seen personally:
I don't even listen heavily to any of these people, but during the 2002 Olympics in Salt Lake, I saw a show comprised of Talib Kweli, Common, Mos Def, The Roots, Erykah Badu and several lessers. They played for like 5 hours and it was a ing insane show by all measures.
Gipsy Kings -Greek Theatre-L.A....in the 90's
Allman Bros-Greek Theatre-L.A....same era
Kinks-Wiltern Theatre- L.A- the past
The Who-Dallas- a long time ago in a galaxy far,far away
Rolling Stones-Dallas
SRV & Double Trouble-San Antonio
honorable mention;
Santana, Ozzy with Randy Rhodes...
Ottmar Leibert, Robin Trower
next tier...
Too many to mention...a lot of great shows ...
Pink Floyd. 8th Row($35 from Sound Warehouse). Alamo Dome. Easter Sunday 1994.
Cake in Houston, a week after 9/11, pretty emotional, caught a drumstick
Motorhead/Dio/Iron Maiden in San Antonio, for obvious reasons
Ozzfest 2003 (lots of good bands, and had a great time taking a piss while Crazytown was on, how the F they got invited to Ozzfest I have no clue)
Dave Ralph at House of New Orleans, 2004 or so
Tenacious D in San Antonio (much better than the act they were headlining, Weezer)
Airport 02 or so in Austin (Crystal Method, DJ Irene, a few others)
Lots of other assorted rock bands at various San Antonio venues.
^^ Color me jealous
Queen 1978
QOTSA at Reading and Muse at Wembley come to mind.
If we're talking anything, then this is the greatest sporting moment i've seen live.
Man... there are some old ers in here.
The Flaming Lips at Sunset Station
Angels and Airwaves - The Hard Rock - Vegas
Morrissey - House of Blues - Vegas
Devo - Inland Invasion - LA
Primus at the Bank Atlantic Center a few years back
I wasn't there but I wish I was:
And the only DMB concert I went to was in Indiana in the middle of a thunderstorm in summer '05. It was an awesome experience with my 3 roommates at the time (and random people we met there). But I wish I could have been at Live at Luther College for Say Goodbye.
(this isn't that specific performance but it sounds close)
where was the show, how much was the show, and did you smoke weed during the show?
Pardon me if I am having a hard time trying to imagine you seeing Led Zeppelin live in the 70s
can you please produce a ticket stub, photo,or a sworn statement from anyone?

1) Pink Floyd in '87 at PHX Municipal stadium
4th row with 7 of my best friends armed with a Humboldt county fatty.

The replay was just as good.
But being so close to pink floyd didn't you miss out on some of the lazers and special effects people back further got to enjoy?
Did they play working man and don't lie I can look it up.Loudest indoor concert i've ever heard. My ears were flat for 3 days after.
I refused to see Rush again after what i went through to get those Rush tickets back in 1999 or 2000 right around that era they come to town so many times it gets confusing. I do know it was right around the time Creed came around. Both times a bad experience took place and now I regret not making this a Best and "worst" live events topic.....
bottom-line Rush didn't play working man a song that put them on the map a song that changed history from that day fourth...
ok so I am stlil bitter about it...wtf?
