No love for Carson Palmer or Troy Polamalu?
or are you just looking at today?
1. Bush - punt return for TD to win game
2. Leinart - solid through half orchestrating a nice 20-10 lead over KC
No love for Carson Palmer or Troy Polamalu?
or are you just looking at today?
i love everybody, lol. i am just talking about the rookies today as there are some who think Leinart and Bush are/will be busts...and thats OUTRAGEOUS. Lendale White was not half bad either with 8 rushes and 48 yards.
Wow, Bush finally scores a TD and that makes him an absolute non-bust. Again, can we wait a few years before we declare HOFer or bust please.
no, we can't. he leads the NFL in receptions and is averaging 84 ypg. plus, NFL defenses are keying on him like crazy...just watch the games.
...he's the best RB of all time.
Let's not get too carried away. I agree with johngateswhitely nearly every time, so I'm going to assume you are purposely exagerating on this one.
He is good though, a much better pick then Mario Williams, that's for damn sure.
lol, he's the best RB of all time....>>>![]()
He has done fairly well. However, he has yet to reach the 100 yd mark rushing or receiving in a game or score an offensive touchdown (not special teams). Give the guy his due, he has great potential and athletic ability, but greatest running back of all-time? Lol, even if you are exaggerating, its still way way out there. He is not even one of the best in the league. 3.1 ypc...c'mon. He needs to stick to receiver and even there, he is just good, not great.
So, JGW, when are they gonna switch Reggie Bush to receiver?
Which is still more then can be said for Vince Young.
Seriously, anyone that has watched the Saints play can see what an impact Bush has been. He's drawing so much attention from defensive game plans that it's opening up the rest of the field for everyone else. He's still managing to put up above average numbers while dealing with double coverage on 80% of the plays he's in. I'm not a USC fan, nor do I care if Bush succeeds but he's an impact guy, there is no denying it.
ya'll are in stupidasses and are posting as if Reggie Bush is the first and only player in the NFL to get double teamed thereby permitting easier defense on the rest of his teammates....wow, you guys should work for espn
he's not even a top 2 USC RB. still way behind marcus allen and OJ.
Reggie Bush can't run consistently up the middle. DeMarcus Ware ran him down as he was trying to get to the outside as have many NFL defenders. He will not be one of the top RBs in the league trying to do the same things he did in college. Won't work in the NFL. Again, JGW, when are they switching him to receiver?
Ok, what's your point? We are discussing why he's an impact player, and that's why. Oh, and starting a sentence with ya'll and then calling someone a stupidass seems a bit ironic to me.
It's called a dialect, and if you're from a gay ass state like Colorado, then you aren't expected to get it. And yall are stupid asses. No he is an impact player but the way you speak of him getting double teamed looks so pretentious, he's just a in speed burst, I echo LB7: when are they switching him to receiver? He gets more action on catches than carries.
...thats fine, but you're wrong. Bush is the man...and was selected on ESPN as the impact player of the week.
...as for Colorado, you're an idiot, that state ing rocks. and as much as i love Texas and it will always be home, Colorado kicks the out of it. apparently you don't like:
1. Mountains
2. Four Seasons
3. Hot girls
4. Guns
5. Hunting
6. absence of laws
7. elevation
...even though Texas has #s 3,4,&5.
okay so colorado rules, but bush is still not the best rb in the game if he doesn't even run it well
colorado is great, but the lack of ethnic diversity in some of the cities, namely denver, is kinda disturbing. does colorado have no state income tax like texas?
Bush is already an awesome player, but I don't think he'll ever be a top RB. He is special for his ability to play the "flex" position, and that is where Sean Payton is wisely using him. Trying to make him into a 20 carry per game RB or a full time WR would be a huge mistake. For that reason, he'll never put up the Gonzo RB or WR stats, but he'll likely be one of the leagues premier impact players for a long time.
...while i don't totally disagree with anything here, i think saying Bush will never be a top back is a bit early. there is only one reason he does not get more carries, and thats cause Deuce is back strong this year. and though i agree Bush is very good at being a flex player i think he'll get more carries later in his career. probably a 15-17 carry 8 reception guy in the future.
