How about instead of being upset at the school, you teach your dip kid a little common sense?A sixth-grade student at Harris Middle School in San Antonio got his throat slashed Wednesday during physical education class.
Marcus Mendoza, 12, said he sustained a cut that wraps around the front of his neck when he and some classmates were horsing around during physical education class. Mendoza said a classmate tied a wire-like string around his own waist. The other end was formed into a noose and put around Mendoza's neck. Then the classmate jumped off a set of bleachers.
"The doctor was saying the neck has seven layers of skin, and (the cut) went through five-and-a-half layers of skin," said Gabriel Mendoza, Marcus' father.
According to Gabriel Mendoza, this is not the first time Marcus has been injured during PE class. He wants to know who's watching the students.
"I'm upset about the students not being supervised," he said.
Harris Middle School Principal Moises Ortiz said the incident is still under investigation, but their policy does not allow students to be unsupervised.
The students involved in the incident may face disciplinary action, as well as the teacher.

Well, the way it reads...is that some kid wrapped one end to his waist...threw the other noose in on the one kid...then the kid with the other end wrapped around his waist jumped off the bleachers...at least that's how I took it while watching it on the news...
Who thinks that wrapping stuff around your neck, THEN jumping off something is in anyway a good idea?
Sounds to me like the kid is getting picked on, and didn't want to rat out the guy who jumped off the bleachers.
Unless it was his idea, in that case he should have finished the job.
It sounded like a good idea at the time...

Holy crap.....I just heard this morning that the members of that band are doing a reality show (The Rockstar?) to find a new *head* man....weird.
Maybe the kid is just alittle slow, pretending to be a hardass. What was he trying to do anyway.

Maybe I had the wrong choice of words.
I can't speak for the Mendoza clan, but this guy is right on one count...Maybe its because his last name is Mendoza, this would never happen to a kid named roberts.
