Bennett City Hijackers = new team imo
Just wondering - since the Sonics won in 1979 vs. the Bullets.
Thunder one time NBA champs?
Sonics one time NBA champs and Thunder zero?
Wikipedia tells me they have one - what's your take on that?
Bennett City Hijackers = new team imo
they have a championship banner in the arena and on espn , they list 1 championship for OKC.
Bennet bought the championship + banner
In case Seattle would get another team, they would share the history with okc.
€ corrected
Well the LA lakers count les back when they were the Mississippi lakers or w/e there were from.
Yea, b/c Mississippi makes sense with a name like "Lakers".
Minnesota man. Minnesota. "Land of 10,000 Lakes"
Crytec brings up a good point - what if Seattle finally gets it's team back? What if the team will be called the "Supersonics" - Who own's the le then?
Maybe Oklahoma City because the new Seattle franchise will be an new expansion one. But it will be a very interesting debate and a Seattle-Okla playoff series will be very interesting
The Seattle Hornets would have no les, obviously...
They would be Cuckolding Champs son.
Not anymore.
1 championship baby
Even OKC fans have scoreboard over Dallas fans.![]()
Officially they do have a championship. The owner has rights to all Sonics stuff.
I don't see what Facebook status has to do with sexuality, but per the parlance of the thread, no Facebook user has any business labeling a Facebook status update, gy. As all Facebook status updates are such.
Maintaining a Facebook account is a narcissistic endeavour, disguised as a social one. And is extremely stupid insomuch that you're readily acquiescing to a centralized authority and allowing inner details of your life to count as part of aggregated, or individualized, data sets.
If you're a Facebook user who posts status updates, arguing that someone else's status updates are gy, is basically like being a guy who jacks off with men, but argues that guys who give blowjobs are too gay. In other words, you're all s, so get over it.
The Thunder do not have a le. The owner doesn't have the rights of the Sonics history, the city of Seattle does. Part of the agreement that the NBA reached with the city of Seattle during the move was that if a new franchise came to Seattle, they would get the Sonics history.
The banner in OKC means nothing. They're a new franchise by the contract they signed with Seattle.
do you know if the same was done for the Minneapolis Lakers?
sup random gnsf
imo, okc has one.
its the franchise that gets the le, not the city.
if the Lakers moves to Dallas, then the Dallas Lakers have a grip load of les, unfortunately the fan base there didnt experience any joy from it, but they can say that thier team has les.
does that mean if the mavs move to seattle, they would have a championship? seattle mavericks![]()
