Golden-voiced Internet sensation Ted Williams — who's been on a whirlwind of TV appearances — was held at a Los Angeles police station following an argument with his daughter, reports The Associated Press.
Ted Williams reunites with mother, accepts multiple job offers
A Los Angeles Police Department spokesman confirmed to TVGuide.com that police responded to a disturbance call Monday night at the Renaissance Hollywood Hotel & Spa, and said neither was arrested or pressed charges after being brought into a Hollywood police station.
"It was minor. Both parties were angry but there were no signs of visible abuse," Officer Catherine Massey told the AP. "They were brought in, calmed down, talked to and released."
William's manager, Al Battle, declined to comment but told the AP that a statement would be issued "once we get all the facts."
An e-mail to Battle was not immediately returned.

Williams was in town to film a two-part episode of Dr. Phil over the weekend in which he meets with his ex-wife, Patricia, and five of his nine children.
Last week, the 53-year-old man with a "voice of gold," was pulled from living on the streets, reunited with his mom after 10 years and has been fielding numerous job offers as well as TV appearances. Williams says he began drinking and using drugs in 1996. As a result, he lost his radio job and his home. He became an Internet sensation early last week after The Columbus Dispatch posted a video of him showing off his smooth-sounding radio voice.
